Computer System Requirements

Students are required to have a laptop computer and a quality head set with microphone. We highly recommend a core duo processor 1.8 ghz or better 2 gb of ram. Real time video and audio System Requirementscommunication(used frequently for lectures and Class discussions), will demand processing power as well as a sound ram configuation.

Destiny University has developed an online courseware site which is available to all students.
The use of (multi)media rich content is paramount. We provide the major multimedia forms:

A BroadBand (DSL or CABLE) connection is required to access the course materials on this site and to be able to participate in online class disscussions and lectures.

Apple Computers

Students using an Apple notebook or Mac with Intel Core duo chip configuration, will need a piece of software called "Boot Camp" from Mac OS X Leopard Operating system.
The "Boot Camp" software will allow the Microsoft Windows XP operating system to run on a Mac with the Intel Chip configuration.

We have transcoded our Streaming media to a cross platform format(flash video)to facilitate Mac, Pc, Linux operating systems.
