(Unit II, will not involve specific gestational timing as much as our earlier lectures. Now, we will concentrate on developmental processes taking place to generate the ultimate adult mature form. )
After this lecture & your studying, you will:
1. Acquire a foundation for the understanding and appreciation of the architecture of the mature human body.
2. Be able to discuss and demonstrate a basic overview & understanding of key embryological developmental processes for establishing the basic body form.
3. Be able to discuss formation & shape of the external body
4. Be able to describe the formation & separation of the internal body cavities
5. Define the IEC & EEC
6. Understand mesenteries in terms of definition, origin, function, orientation & logic as to presence or absence.
7. Gain the basic understanding of the relationship of the internal organs within the body.
