APPLICATION PROCESS

COMHS has three entry points throughout the calendar year - September, January and May. Students should have their applications complete at least three months priorto anticipated entry date.

Application process:

Submit the following:

1. Completed application
2. Passport (2" x 2"). Submit two photos to the front of the Application form.
3. Personal statement covering your goals, why you chose medicine, and why you will be a good physician.
4. Educational and work history, charity and volunteer experiences since leaving school.
5. A $US 50.00 application fee.
6. New applicants should have a College Pre Medical Advisor Committee evaluation sent in support of your candidacy. Letters of recommendation from your former professors and employers are also requested for completion of your application.
7. If you were previously enrolled in medical school, please include a Deans Letter recommendation from that institution, as well as letters of recommendation from faculty.
8. Official, unopened transcripts must be sent to the Montana office from the registrar of your college in an official envelope. If unofficial applications are being sent in support of an application, official copies of those transcripts must follow prior to actual entry into a class.
9. Medical College Admissions Scores are not presently required; however US students will probably help their application with MCAT Admissions Scores.

Applicants from countries with a different educational system from the United States will be required to have completed a pre-medical curriculum that includes the above required courses, and may be evaluated by an international credential evaluation service.
